Charlie Bilello, chief market strategist at Creative Planning, reports that Google posted a 24% year-over-year increase in Q2 revenues, reaching a new record of $120 billion.
Net income climbed 298% to a record $112 billion, with $98 billion attributed to unrealized gains in equity securities, including those from SpaceX and Anthropic. Cloud revenue also grew 82% year-over-year to $25 billion.
Bilello has previously highlighted shifts in major U.S. markets. In a recent post, he reported that U.S. sports betting wagers climbed from $6.6 billion in 2018 to $165 billion in 2025. He also noted that U.S. national debt rose by $3.2 trillion in a single year. These recent figures provide further context to his market coverage.
