Ethereum could achieve greater validator privacy with daily re-anonymization, Vitalik Buterin notes
Ethereum consensus could become more private

Vitalik Buterin, co-founder at Ethereum, has outlined a path to make the Ethereum consensus chain more streamlined while significantly enhancing validator privacy.

His proposal involves separating deposit actions from staking and withdrawals using zero-knowledge technology, and re-anonymizing stakers every day.

Buterin has previously reported on meetings among Ethereum researchers in Berlin to advance the protocol's long-term plans following April talks in Svalbard, according to a past update. He has also urged formal verification for new options projects before their mainnet launch to ensure blockchain security. These developments reflect ongoing efforts by Buterin and the Ethereum community to improve network robustness and governance.
