Alexander Stahel: Gold and gold miners unlikely to rise until Strait normalizes
Gold miners lag as Strait disrupts

Alexander Stahel, founder and CIO at Commodity Private Equity Fund, points out that gold and gold miners are unlikely to perform well until the Strait returns to normal operations in some form.

He observes that, despite artificially low oil prices at present, today oil is rising while gold is declining.

Stahel has weighed in on other key market developments in recent months. He previously said that Elvira Nabiullina’s clear monetary policy helped prevent a collapse of Russia’s economy. Earlier, Stahel also pointed to Elon Musk’s $20 billion bond sale plan following BBB ratings. These comments reflect his focus on leadership and capital access during periods of market strain.
