Class action firms earn large sums while individuals receive little, Grant Cardone notes
Class action lawsuit payouts analyzed

Grant Cardone, CEO / Founder at Cardone Enterprises and Cardone Capital, examines who benefits from class action lawsuits.

Cardone highlights cases brought by a legal group representing millions of people against major companies, including Toyota and Google. In these lawsuits, the firms reportedly received more than $300 million and $175 million respectively, while the average individual payout was just $64.75 in the Toyota case.

Cardone has previously focused on legal fee structures, citing a case where SussmanGodfrey lawyers sought to seal a deposition and requested $15 million to $30 million in fees from investors, according to a prior report. He has also reported that Cardone Capital returned $78 million of the $163 million raised to investors, as noted in a separate update. These disclosures reflect his ongoing attention to investor outcomes and legal costs in major cases.
