Almost everyone rejects EIP-8361, Stani Kulechov notes
EIP-8361 faces strong Ethereum pushback

Stani Kulechov, founder and chief executive officer at Avara, observed that EIP-8361 faces near-universal opposition within the Ethereum community. He suggested the proposal could become one of the most resisted in the network’s history, second only to ProgPoW.

Kulechov added that many want Ethereum to focus on solving core issues rather than advancing unpopular proposals.

Kulechov has previously warned that capping Ethereum staking rewards could make yields unpredictable and negatively impact the network, as detailed in his comments on potential staking reward caps. He has also highlighted new technology, noting the introduction of an Aave V4 dashboard that provides a comprehensive market structure view. These statements reflect his continued engagement with Ethereum’s technical direction.
