Asset integration and game design remain key issues, Hasan Toor notes
Agent-built game development issues persist

Hasan Toor, co-founder at Toor, argues that the main challenge in agent-built games is not the Gauntlet Loop mechanism itself, but rather the effective integration of assets, game libraries, textures, and multiplayer functionality.

Toor points out that without elements to tie these components together, most agent-created games end up burning tokens without delivering completed products. He emphasizes the need for clear budgets and finished results in the development process.

Earlier this year, Toor highlighted how achieving Opus 4.8 quality at half the cost attracted attention from finance teams in the industry, according to a previous report. Separately, he reported on Block’s launch of Buzz on Nostr, which opened channels for both humans and AI agents with cryptographic identities, as detailed in an earlier article. These developments reflect Toor’s ongoing focus on practical advancements in AI and agent-driven applications.
