Assistance for coldcard victims is forthcoming, Alex Thorn states
Coldcard tracing support update promised

Alex Thorn has addressed individuals affected by coldcard issues who are waiting for assistance in tracing their funds.

He acknowledged receiving a large number of reports and explained that he needed to take a break and perform maintenance on related databases and systems. Thorn reassured those waiting that he has not forgotten them and will respond to everyone.

Thorn previously flagged an ongoing attack affecting BTC addresses generated by Coldcard hardware wallets, urging users to secure their funds in an earlier notice. He later reported that at least 15 different attackers were exploiting the same Coldcard vulnerability, with new victim reports continuing to surface in a subsequent update. The situation has led to a sustained effort to assist impacted wallet holders.
