Liquid bridge drained after Astra drop

Jameson Lopp, board member at Casa, questions whether it is a coincidence that the Liquid bridge was drained just days after the release of Astra.

He observes that the Liquid functionary codebase appears not to have been updated in 2 years, describing this lack of recent activity as a negative sign.

Lopp has previously warned about technical issues affecting the ecosystem, including reporting that Bitcoin nodes running BIP-110 became stuck at block height 961,633. He has also cited recent disclosures, such as a former Citrea developer providing new details about the OP_RETURN war. These incidents have kept infrastructure stability in focus among observers.
