Jameson Lopp: Recent bitcoin-related attack in Mexico ends fatally
Bitcoin wrench attack in Mexico fatal

Jameson Lopp, board member at Casa, highlights that bitcoin wrench attacks rarely result in homicide.

However, the latest incident in Mexico resulted in a fatal outcome.

Lopp has previously commented on incidents in the crypto sector involving security and disclosure. He reported when a former Citrea developer revealed new details about their part in the OP_RETURN war. In another instance, Lopp questioned whether the Liquid bridge hack shortly after Astra’s release was coincidental, raising concerns about code maintenance.
