Major U.S. indexes close lower on Tuesday, Peter Tuchman reports — S&P 500, Nasdaq, Dow Jones drop Tuesday

The S&P 500, Nasdaq, and Dow Jones all declined in Tuesday's market session, with drops of 0.04%, 0.11%, and 0.29% respectively.
