BOJ survey finds price rise expected

A Bank of Japan survey found that 88.6% of households in Japan expect prices to rise a year from now. Christophe Barraud, Head of Discretionary Management and Research at LIOR Global Partners, reported the finding.

Barraud has recently highlighted pressures in major economies. He noted that China’s debt burden is restricting its capacity for additional economic stimulus. In the U.S., he expects S&P 500 companies to achieve earnings growth above 35 percent in Q3.
