A U.S. venue for Hyperliquid perpetual futures is being developed with backing from Intercontinental Exchange (ICE), owner of the New York Stock Exchange, according to trade[xyz].

Laura Shin reported that Stan Druckenmiller is also investing in the project. Regulatory approval from the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) has not yet been secured.

Laura Shin has previously reported on a rise in AI-driven hacks since March, citing Shield’s development as a defensive tool on NEAR in her coverage. Separately, a $250,000 payout for an XRP Ledger bug has drawn industry comparisons to Google’s bug bounty rewards in recent reporting. These incidents reflect continuing scrutiny around digital asset security and incentives.
