Phil Rosen: AI stocks like Nvidia, Micron and Google are trading cheaper than dot-com names at peak bubble
AI stock valuations below dot-com bubble

AI stocks such as Nvidia, Micron and Google are currently trading at valuations that are lower than those seen by dot-com companies at the peak of the dot-com bubble.

Phil Rosen stated this comparison and also noted that some bearish analysts continue to argue that a market crash is imminent. Rosen added that he discussed these trends with veteran investor Rhys Williams, who managed $2 billion during the bubble's height.

Rosen previously noted that a $10,000 investment in the S&P 500 in 2005 would have grown to $54,839 by 2025 if key trading days were captured, but missing those days could have slashed returns to $9,428, according to his analysis in one past report. He also reported that the S&P 500 gained 118% over a four-year period, a run surpassed by only two bull markets in the last 70 years, as detailed in another article. These data points have informed Rosen’s recent market commentary on valuations and risk.
