Bitcoin could reduce banking failure impact

Samson Mow, identified as Chief Executive Officer at JAN3, stated that adopting Bitcoin at a nation-state level could mitigate the effects of systemic banking failures by providing people with an alternative parallel rail.

He also mentioned that representatives from JAN3 met with the Central Bank of Paraguay several years ago to discuss related topics.

Mow has previously reported on the technical operations of Bitcoin infrastructure, noting that efforts to restore the Liquid BTC peg included an external audit and coordination with Blockstream. He also stated that a 2.5 BTC test transaction reduced the shortfall in the Liquid Federation wallet to 600 BTC. These updates reflect Mow’s ongoing involvement in developments related to Bitcoin network reliability.
