Changpeng Zhao: Users of SignalPlus for other exchanges urged to revoke all API keys
SignalPlus users advised to revoke API keys

Changpeng Zhao recommended that people who use SignalPlus with any exchange platform other than its primary one should revoke all API keys. He also advised against storing API keys with third-party platforms. Zhao noted that Deribit was also among the first to report this advice.

Zhao has previously reported a series of data leaks affecting industry firms, including a breach at Coinbase vendor Amplitude and South Korean exchange Bithumb, which exposed user contact data (full story). In a separate incident, he advised caution after a suspected supply chain attack targeted some buyers of Ledger hardware wallets (full details). These reports add to Zhao’s ongoing guidance for users on platform and data security.
