Nvidia picks Palantir for AI supply chain: Can PLTR rebound?
PLTR forms a golden cross as macro pressure weighs on the stock

Palantir entered the latest market selloff with one of the biggest names in AI now using its software inside its own operations. The next few sessions could show whether that vote of confidence is enough to bring buyers back.

Nvidia and Palantir announced an expansion of their partnership focused on AI-driven supply chain management. Nvidia will integrate Palantir Foundry, AIP and Ontology with its Nemotron models, bringing data on materials, capacity and suppliers into a unified decision-making system.

The scale of the deployment is notable for Palantir. A single Nvidia Vera Rubin rack contains about 1.3 million parts, while the broader supply chain spans thousands of suppliers and manufacturing partners. That makes Nvidia not only a technology partner, but also a significant enterprise customer deploying Palantir software across a highly complex industrial network.

Golden cross adds a bullish signal despite the selloff

The bearish setup has started to play out, with PLTR failing to hold $170 support and falling to $165.86.

At the same time, a golden cross has formed on the daily chart. The previous comparable signal appeared in April 2023. After the crossover, the stock initially fell by more than 10% before rebounding from a local low and gaining around 177% over the following months.

The golden cross therefore does not rule out further short-term weakness before a broader recovery develops.

For today’s session, $162.50 becomes the key level. A sustained move below it could extend the correction toward $158. If support holds, buyers could get another opportunity to test $170.

The 5% yield level becomes a new risk for Palantir

The macro backdrop remains particularly challenging for richly valued technology stocks. The 10-year U.S. Treasury yield has climbed to roughly 4.95–4.96%, bringing it close to the psychological 5% threshold amid hot PPI data, higher oil prices and escalating tensions with Iran.

Société Générale has warned that a 5.5% yield on the 10-year Treasury could become a critical threshold, where the rising cost of capital begins to outweigh improving corporate earnings and puts greater pressure on equity valuations.
