John Welles Wilder Jr. (June 11, 1935 – April 18, 2021) was an American mechanical engineer who transitioned into real estate development and later became a prominent figure in technical analysis. After serving in the U.S. Navy during the Korean War, he earned a degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University in 1962.
