Triv is a regulated Indonesian crypto exchange established in 2015. Its activities are supervised by BAPPEBTI (the Commodity Futures Trading Supervisory Agency/Badan Pengawas Perdagangan Berjangka Komoditi) and Kominfo (the Ministry of Communication and Information Technology). Through its mobile app and web platform, traders can access over 200 cryptocurrencies, invest in staking of over 25 coins, and trade U.S tokenized stocks with dividend payouts. All digital assets traded on Triv are insured with Lloyd’s and BitGo with a total coverage of $100 million.

TU Expert Verdict

Editor at Cryptocurrency & Blockchain Department

Triv demonstrates moderate stability and can suit certain traders. Its conditions are acceptable, and feedback is mixed but reasonable. In my own tests, it performed adequately, though it lacks the consistency of higher-rated companies.

Triv is an Indonesian crypto exchange offering spot cryptocurrency trading, staking, and U.S. tokenized stocks through web and mobile platforms. It is regulated by BAPPEBTI and Kominfo, and supports deposits and withdrawals through more than 60 partner banks and popular payment systems. The exchange reports insurance coverage of up to $100 million through Lloyd's and BitGo, while spot fees are 0.1%. Its services also include crypto-backed lending and transfers of digital assets between users.

However, a notable drawback is that availability is mainly restricted to Indonesia. Triv does not offer leverage or a demo account, and technical support is limited, with no email channel or multilingual service reported. The exchange also lacks Tier-1 oversight, and its asset and market coverage is narrower than that of larger global platforms. Triv may suit Indonesian users seeking localized spot crypto and staking services, while traders prioritizing leverage, broader markets, or wider geographic access may prefer another exchange.

I liked the Triv mobile app from the first day of use. It has all necessary features in a convenient menu, offers high command response speed, and provides both TradingView and Depth price charts. Moreover, there are over 80 technical indicators providing high-quality market analysis. Registration on its website took up to 10 minutes and verification was simple — I didn’t have to upload documents or take selfies many times.
To deposit Indonesian rupiah, you don’t have to enter your bank details or use the online banking service. It is possible to choose the required bank directly in the mobile app and confirm the transaction. Triv’s drawback for me is that you can’t use trading robots or pre-built scripts to enter trades. So I use another exchange for this purpose.

Despite the lack of a demo mode, I still decided to test Triv due to its attractive conditions with a 0.1% fee, instant order execution, and a variety of cryptocurrencies. Overall, I was satisfied. The only thing is that the mobile app can be slow sometimes, so I mostly use the web platform.
Fees are fixed, so I always know the cost of each trade. Withdrawal requests are typically approved within 2-3 hours. Cryptocurrencies are withdrawn within several hours, while bank transfers take longer.

Triv is one of my primary exchanges for trading and staking Tether. The platform offers a maximum interest rate of 6.5% for USDT staking and a fixed 0.1% fee for spot trades.
Among the disadvantages is limited availability of technical support. Couple of months ago, I couldn’t sign into the platform, as a one-time code didn’t come to my smartphone. Since it was Sunday, I had to wait for Monday to get help. As a result, I wasn’t able to close certain positions on time and incurred losses. But, overall, trading with Triv is comfortable.
