Headway review: Broker expands social mission with support for Yogyakarta orphanage
Headway has launched a new humanitarian initiative after receiving a heartfelt request through its Dreamway community platform. The company responded by extending material and emotional support to children at the Kiwari Foundation, an orphanage in Yogyakarta. Many of the children living there have experienced the profound loss of a parent, yet remain determined to pursue their ambitions — aspiring to become doctors, educators and community leaders despite the challenges they face.

Headway stated that the aim of the project was not only to meet essential needs but also to uplift the children's morale and reinforce their sense of belonging. The effort reflects the company’s expanding social responsibility program, which operates alongside its global brokerage services.
Delivering aid that supports daily life and spiritual well-being
As part of the initiative, Headway distributed 70 specially curated assistance packages. The contents were tailored to the children’s daily routines and spiritual practices. Boys received sarongs, prayer mats, skullcaps, food, beverages and IDR 100,000 in personal funds. Girls were given prayer robes, prayer mats, food, drinks and the same financial support.
The company emphasized that the objective extended beyond practical aid. By providing items that reinforce comfort and cultural identity, Headway hopes to strengthen the children’s resilience and help create a stable foundation as they continue their education and personal development.
The outreach also included a media component: a dedicated video documenting the visit and the children’s stories, featured in the September episode of the company’s YouTube series. Headway says such storytelling helps raise awareness of the challenges facing vulnerable communities while highlighting local initiatives working to address them.
Headway, known for offering trading services and education to global market participants, has increasingly incorporated social projects into its broader corporate mission. The company notes that supporting local communities aligns with its long-term strategy of fostering trust and building sustainable relationships with clients around the world.
