On May 22, 2026, MEXC, in partnership with CeylonCash, held a Bitcoin Pizza Day event in Colombo, Sri Lanka. Participants who pre-registered on the event page were required to verify token ownership through their wallets, follow MEXC on social media, make a public post with a specific hashtag, and provide their MEXC user ID. A mobile pizza truck distributed free pizza and drinks to those who completed these steps, with the vehicle stopping at various undisclosed locations announced via MEXC's channels throughout the day. Coupons for the food and drinks were given on a first-come, first-served basis to verified participants, and the event ran for approximately seven hours.

How to participate

To join MEXC's Bitcoin Pizza Day event, participants needed to register in advance, verify token ownership through their crypto wallet, and follow MEXC on social networks while creating a public post with the hashtag #MEXCEventRocks. Additionally, users were required to open a MEXC account and provide their user ID to event staff. On the event day, eligible participants could locate the mobile pizza truck (with locations announced via MEXC’s channels), present their registration documentation, post proof, and user ID to receive a coupon for free pizza and a drink—distribution was first come, first served.
