Gate.io has announced the launch of Gate Stocks, a service enabling users to trade real U.S., Hong Kong, and Korean stocks with 24/7 availability. According to the platform, 215 stocks are available at launch, with the service integrated into Gate.io’s unified account system and trading conducted directly using USDT rather than tokenized assets.
Gate Stocks connects users to major U.S. markets and supports spot stock investment via licensed brokers, separate from contracts for difference, and does not charge funding, swap, or overnight fees. Plans to expand support for 24/7 trading and additional stock listings were also indicated, and users must update their Gate App and complete KYC verification to access the service.
