Bybit has introduced Perp Options, described as the industry's first options contracts based on perpetual contracts for US equity-style instruments. According to the announcement, this product enables 24/7 trading of options linked to underlying tickers such as SPCX (SpaceX), NVDA (NVIDIA), TSLA, and QQQ, supporting fractional lots and USDT settlement, with no requirement to own the underlying shares or tokens. Trading is integrated into Bybit's Unified Trading Account (UTA), allowing the use of full options strategies—including spreads and covered calls—and supports portfolio margining. The initial launch began on September 17, 2026, with additional tickers scheduled to be added after the first phase.
