Highlights

  • ZS/USX price holds above key short and long-term moving averages, confirming ongoing bullish momentum in the short to medium term.
  • Momentum indicators show a bullish bias, but overbought readings signal buyers dominate intraday with risk of near-term exhaustion.
  • Expected short-term range is USX1,281 to USX1,297, with a 60% chance of further gains unless immediate support breaks.

Buyers dominate intraday as overbought signals emerge

On the hourly chart, ZS/USX has cleared the MA-20 at USX1,281 and MA-50 at USX1,282, with the daily MA-200 at USX1,197 remaining well below price as a key longer-term support. The Ichimoku Kijun at USX1,282 offers immediate support in the current setup. Momentum readings are bullish, with both MACD and Awesome Oscillator in positive territory, while ADX signals a neutral trend environment. Oscillators including RSI, Stoch RSI, CCI, and Bull/Bear Power show overbought conditions, indicating that buyers are dominating the intraday market but may face some exhaustion or divergence risk.

Price consolidation likely amid directional breakout risks

Over the short term, ZS is expected to trade within the USX1,281 to USX1,297 corridor. The most likely scenario is for the price to consolidate within this range, with a 60% probability assigned to a move higher. Should ZS decisively break above resistance, the advance could extend to test the upper end of the current band. Conversely, a drop below immediate support would open the door to a test of the lower boundary of the volatility band relative to current levels.

Viktoras Karapetjanc, Traders Union expert, sees Soybean Futures supported by strong technical momentum above key moving averages and indicators. He notes that overbought signals suggest some caution, but bullish momentum remains intact. The analyst expects price action to consolidate in the USX1,281–USX1,297 corridor, with a higher probability for upside. Karapetjanc remains optimistic given resilient buyer activity. "As long as Soybean Futures hold above immediate support, buyers have the edge and further gains are possible in the short term."

Previously, it was reported that Indian customs authorities had launched an investigation into a surge of soybean imports declared as originating from Niger due to concerns over mislabelling and import duties. With soybean futures now maintaining positive momentum and signaling possible further upside, traders should monitor for any shifts in global supply disruptions that could influence the current USX1,281 to USX1,297 trading range.
