Roche and C4 Therapeutics deepen collaboration to pursue novel cancer-targeting platforms
C4 Therapeutics, Roche strengthen cancer pact

C4 Therapeutics, Inc. has announced an expansion of its long-term partnership with Roche to further research and develop next-generation degrader-antibody conjugates (DACs) targeting disease-causing proteins in cancer.

The expanded collaboration aims to leverage the complementary expertise of both companies in the field of targeted protein degradation and antibody engineering. The move underscores growing industry momentum toward developing innovative cancer therapies designed to address unmet clinical needs.

C4 Therapeutics recently introduced cemsidomide, an IKZF1/3 degrader featuring a 14-day dosing holiday intended to support bone marrow recovery, according to a company announcement. The firm has also highlighted senior vice president Shagha Russell's role in advancing cemsidomide toward regulatory studies in a separate update. These developments reflect C4 Therapeutics’ ongoing efforts to advance its pipeline in targeted protein degradation.
