A new survey by Redfin Corp reveals that 83 percent of prospective home sellers express interest in a coming soon approach before formally listing their properties.
Additionally, 84 percent indicate that greater assurance their home will sell would significantly increase their likelihood to list. In response, Redfin Corp introduces Early Access, a program designed to give sellers added visibility and buyers a first look before homes hit the broader market. The move aims to address hesitancy among sellers and improve market liquidity.
Redfin Corp recently reported that 34 percent of homebuyers rank clean air and water above smart technology features, particularly among younger buyers, according to company data. The firm has also found that most Americans are more likely to oppose local AI data centers, though support increases among younger residents, as revealed in a separate survey. These findings follow ongoing research into changing seller and buyer priorities.
