Cambium Networks has launched the ePMP 4500, offering Multi-Gbps capacity on the 5 GHz band with 8x8 MU-MIMO technology.

The product features asymmetric channel bandwidth, aiming to deliver improved sector efficiency and subscriber performance. The company has also rolled out a North America 4x40x40 promotion for the new solution. The ePMP 4500 targets operators looking to increase throughput and network reliability in wireless internet service provision.

Cambium Networks has recently launched software platforms such as MarketApps and cnMaestro to address Wi-Fi issues in multifamily housing driven by operational complexity, according to a prior rollout. The company has also launched initiatives to support internet service providers with managed Wi-Fi and strategic services in the multi-dwelling unit sector, as detailed in a separate program. These moves follow ongoing efforts to expand Cambium’s presence in key wireless infrastructure markets.
