Agenus maps immune tumor patterns

Agenus and the Armenian Bioinformatics Institute have published new research in Oncogene focusing on immune patterns in microsatellite stable (MSS) colorectal cancer tumors.

Using transcriptomic profiling techniques, the study aims to distinguish between different types of immunologically “cold” tumors, potentially revealing patterns associated with outcomes on #BOT/BAL therapies. This approach could inform the development of more targeted immunotherapies for colorectal cancer patients.

Agenus recently participated in ASCO2026 in Chicago, connecting with immuno-oncology experts and advancing patient-centered research, according to a previous report. The company has also reported a median overall survival of 16.6 months with BOT plus BAL in checkpoint-refractory melanoma patients, as outlined in earlier findings. These developments follow ongoing efforts to refine immunotherapy strategies.
