Datadog introduced new capabilities in its Static Code product that leverage agentic evaluation and Bits Memories. The company said these features help Bits AI use reasoning similar to security engineers.
Security engineers trace code paths and apply their team’s knowledge before determining if SAST findings are exploitable. Datadog shared a link for more information.
DDOG is trading at $255.27, above the SMA-20 ($251.93), SMA-50 ($235.59), and SMA-200 ($162.88), which confirms strong bullish momentum across all timeframes. The Ichimoku Kijun on D1 stands at $244.71, now acting as immediate support, with near-term support at $251.93 (SMA-20) and $244.71 (Kijun), and resistance levels clustered at $262.41 (SMA-10/20 EMA) and key resistance at $263.88 (SMA-5 cluster).
Momentum signals from MACD and ADX on D1 remain bullish, though both Stoch RSI and CCI indicate an oversold market, pointing to possible exhaustion in the pullback phase. BBP D1 signals buyer dominance persists, but oscillators diverge, highlighting mixed intraday dynamics. DDOG has fallen $3.42 (1.20%) from last week's close ($258.69) and is at the very bottom of its weekly range, with volatility reaching 10.06%. The week shows a steady decline from recent highs, indicating sellers have dominated the latest move. In today’s session, DDOG is down 3.01% amid heavy intraday selling.
For the upcoming week, the expected trading range is $252.22 to $258.29, keeping DDOG just below its all-time high and above the midpoint of its 52-week span ($98.01–$278.70). Based on W1 signals (RSI, ADX, MACD, MA-50) all showing Buy, the probability of a further price increase is very high (more than 80%), making another decline less likely. Baseline scenario: the price holds within the $252–$258 corridor as consolidation continues. Bullish scenario: a breakout above $258.29 would open the way to retest the yearly high. Bearish scenario: a drop below $252.22 could put near-term support to the test, but medium-term structure still favors buyers.
Earlier, analysts noted that Datadog maintained strong bullish momentum amid continued institutional activity and expanding product capabilities. As market conditions evolve, traders should monitor for signs of follow-through or reversal to assess whether the prevailing trend persists.
