Pacific Biosciences of California has introduced a rapid online quiz designed to help researchers identify optimal setups for their sequencing projects in under a minute.

The tool guides users through three questions to deliver a custom HiFi resource kit, aiming to eliminate manual searching and accelerate laboratory workflows. The initiative reflects the company’s ongoing focus on simplifying genomics research and improving accessibility for scientists seeking tailored sequencing solutions.

Pacific Biosciences of California has previously promoted tailored sequencing strategies, recommending hybrid capture for large panels and custom HiFi sequencing to enhance variant detection in research projects, as detailed in a recent post. The company has also contributed to a surge in complete genome assemblies, with 13 new assemblies featured in a Cell special issue supported by Pacific Biosciences, according to a separate article.
