Nano Nuclear completes removal in Brazil

Nano Nuclear Energy announced that its subsidiary, STS, has completed the removal of cesium-137 from a Brazilian medical facility during a security operation led by the National Nuclear Security Administration.

The company highlighted its involvement in this global security initiative as part of efforts to safeguard radioactive materials at medical sites.

Nano Nuclear Energy’s subsidiary, STS, was previously recognized by the U.S. Department of Energy for its role in nuclear transport projects, according to a company statement. The parent company is also advancing its KRONOS MMR program through U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission review, targeting initial construction in late 2027, as reported earlier this year. These efforts reflect the firm’s ongoing involvement in nuclear security and technology development.
