Crypto Tax Forum 2026 brings together tax and Web3 experts
Crypto Tax Forum 2026 will take place virtually on September 9, bringing together tax professionals, regulators, legal and compliance experts, and Web3 companies. The international conference will focus on crypto asset taxation, regulation, accounting, and financial crime prevention.
The continued growth of digital asset markets has created new challenges for tax authorities, businesses, and professional advisers. Cross-border transactions, the classification of digital assets, reporting requirements, and rapidly evolving regulatory frameworks require companies to navigate increasingly complex tax and compliance obligations.
At the same time, governments and international institutions continue to develop approaches to digital asset reporting, taxation, and financial crime prevention. This has increased the need for dialogue between regulators and the companies building and operating blockchain-based services.
Crypto Tax Forum focuses on practical tax and regulatory issues
The 2026 program will feature five main panel discussions covering International Law, National Tax Law, Tax & Accounting, AML & Crime Prevention, and Future of Blockchain.

The agenda will also include individual presentations, Q&A sessions, and networking, with discussions focused on practical regulatory and taxation issues affecting companies and professionals working with digital assets.
Among the speakers announced for the 2026 edition are Florian Wimmer, CEO of Blockpit AG; Kriti Bansal, Vice President of Finance & Accounting at AlphaPoint; Emil Abrahamyan, Strategic Adviser on AML/CFT/CPF at the Central Bank of Armenia; Tom Barbereau, Senior Scientist at TNO; and Adrian-Victor Vevera, General Director of ICI Bucharest.
Connecting the crypto and tax communities
Crypto Tax Forum is designed as a meeting point for professionals working across taxation, regulation, and blockchain. Previous editions have brought together representatives from tax authorities, law enforcement, international organizations, legal and auditing firms, and Web3 companies.
The 2026 edition comes as governments and businesses continue adapting to new digital asset reporting and compliance requirements. For industry participants, the forum provides an opportunity to examine how regulatory developments are affecting crypto businesses across jurisdictions and to exchange perspectives with tax, legal, and compliance professionals.
Participants will also be able to earn 10 CPE points and receive a Certificate of Attendance and an NFT POAP.
