In our earlier article, we covered Kalshi’s bid for CFTC approval to introduce margin trading on select U.S. event contracts through its clearing arm, Kalshi Klear. The proposal would limit leverage to eligible self-clearing members meeting capital requirements and would exclude sports, culture, and “mention” markets, reflecting broader competition among regulated venues to attract institutional participation and boost liquidity.
