TRON stablecoin surge Q3

TRON says its blockchain network extends its role in digital-asset transfers during the third quarter of 2026, with cumulative transaction volume surpassing $30 trillion. The quarter also brings a rise in stablecoin supply, total value locked and monthly active addresses, even as average daily fee generation eases from the previous quarter.

Highlights

  • TRON reports $2.21 trillion in stablecoin settlement for Q3, with average daily volume up 3.9% to $24.05 billion and stablecoin supply reaching $93.88 billion (+5.5%).
  • Active monthly addresses on TRON rise 9.8% to 18 million, while total fees fall 4.0% quarter-on-quarter to $701.4 million as transaction activity remains steady.
  • Ecosystem integrations in Q3 broaden TRX market access and stablecoin infrastructure, with new products and wallet features from Anchorage Digital, MoonPay, Bitnomial, and others.

Q3 metrics show broader network expansion

As reported by The Block, citing TRON DAO, the network records $2.21 trillion in stablecoin settlement in the third quarter, while average daily settlement volume rises 3.9% from Q2 to $24.05 billion. TRON says stablecoin supply, including USDT and USDD, reaches $93.88 billion, up 5.5% from the prior quarter, while total value locked including staking hits $28.21 billion and DeFi TVL stands at $13.05 billion.

The network also says its active user base continues to widen, with average rolling monthly active addresses increasing 9.8% to 18 million. Fee generation moderates during the period, with total fees of $701.4 million, or $7.62 million per day, down 4.0% from Q2, while transaction activity remains broadly steady.

TRON also points to capital markets momentum during the quarter, noting that Canary Capital launches the Canary Staked TRX ETF, TRXS, on Sept. 9, 2026. The product gives investors exposure to the spot price of TRX and net staking rewards through the fund's daily net asset value.

Ecosystem integrations widen crypto infrastructure reach

Beyond core network metrics, TRON says it expands institutional, trading and stablecoin links across its ecosystem in Q3. Anchorage Digital adds TRX staking and TRC-20 custody, while Bitnomial and Backpack broaden access to TRX markets; Ethena brings USDe and sUSDe to the network, and Ducat connects Bitcoin-backed financial infrastructure to TRON's stablecoin activity.

The network also adds user and developer features aimed at payments, wallets and cross-chain usage. MoonPay introduces gasless transactions through Trust Wallet, Bitcoin.com Wallet adds native support for TRX and USDT-TRC20, and MetaMask connectivity expands across B.AI, SUN.io, JustLend DAO and BitTorrent.

Additional integrations include Fireblocks Flow for payments from TRON wallets, Eco and STON.fi for cross-chain stablecoin connectivity, and KiiChain for foreign-exchange and payment infrastructure. On the developer side, Privy expands wallet and transaction management tools, while OpenZeppelin adds smart contract libraries and security tooling, supporting TRON's push to deepen its role in blockchain-based payment, treasury and DeFi services.

Limited domestic liquidity and a shallow investor base have been keeping smaller Philippine companies from successfully tapping the stock market through IPOs, our earlier report noted. It also highlighted how high listing costs, the need for broader financial literacy, and more predictable regulation shape fundraising outcomes—much like how investor demand ultimately sets the terms for new issuance when companies seek market-based capital.
