Bitonic review: Auto Invest offers fee-free Bitcoin buys
Dutch cryptocurrency platform Bitonic has introduced a 0% fee benefit for users of its Auto Invest feature, allowing customers to purchase Bitcoin automatically with no Bitonic fee on their first €250 of monthly transactions.
The initiative aims to make automated Bitcoin investing more accessible while promoting long-term, disciplined accumulation strategies.
How the 0% fee works
The zero-fee program is automatically applied to all purchases made through Bitonic’s Auto Invest plans. No manual activation is required. The promotion applies exclusively to recurring purchases set through investment plans — manual buys or Bitonic Instant transactions are not eligible.
Under the scheme, each registered user can purchase up to €250 worth of Bitcoin per calendar month without paying the standard Bitonic transaction fee. Once this threshold is reached, the standard variable Bitonic fee resumes on any additional amount purchased during the same month.
However, SEPA transfer and network fees still apply to all transactions, regardless of the amount invested. At the start of every new month, the €250 no-fee limit resets automatically, allowing users to benefit again from the fee-free threshold without additional setup.
Encouraging long-term investment
Bitonic’s Auto Invest feature was designed to simplify Bitcoin accumulation through automated recurring purchases, helping users mitigate market volatility by investing fixed amounts over time. This “dollar-cost averaging” approach is widely used by long-term investors seeking consistent exposure to Bitcoin’s market performance.
By offering a 0% fee on the first €250 each month, Bitonic aims to lower entry barriers for beginners while rewarding regular investors for their consistency. The platform, one of the oldest Bitcoin brokers in Europe, continues to emphasize transparency and user autonomy — providing secure, regulated access to Bitcoin investments in compliance with Dutch financial standards.
