Robert F. Smith notes Alcorn State University is deploying AI campus-wide with NVIDIA partnership
Alcorn State University has become the first historically Black college or university in the U.S. to implement artificial intelligence across its campus, according to a statement by Robert F. Smith.
This strategic partnership with NVIDIA is intended to enhance workforce readiness and provide access to emerging technologies for students and faculty. The initiative is expected to support the development of an AI talent pipeline at Alcorn State University, increasing opportunities in tech-driven fields for graduates.
Smith has previously highlighted the role of Black-owned bookstores in fostering culture and community. He has also commented on the legacy of the Freedom Rides anniversary for U.S. equality efforts.
