Robert Breedlove, founder and host of "What is Money?", comments that envy is a dominant unconscious motivation among people, referencing the views of Helmut Schoeck and Charlie Munger.

According to Breedlove, most Bitcoin supporters exhibit a competitive mentality, often seeking to undermine others within the community. He suggests that Bitcoin brings out fundamental aspects of human nature.

Breedlove has previously argued that Bitcoin is fundamentally rooted in math, thermodynamics, and self-interest, calling these elements permanent aspects of the protocol’s appeal in an earlier post here.
