Easier LN node operation is critical for self-reliance, Alex Bosworth notes
Decentralized LN needs easy node use

Alex Bosworth, head of infrastructure at Lightning Labs, observes that as low-trust shared UTXOs grow, making the Lightning Network (LN) more decentralized and robust, it becomes increasingly important for running a regular LN node to be easy and effective.

Bosworth questions the incentive to operate a node if non-custodial and easy alternatives are available, arguing that self-reliance is essential.
