Fintech yet to hit trillion-dollar mark

Simon Taylor, co-founder at 11:FS, points out that no fintech company has yet reached a trillion-dollar valuation, not even established players in traditional finance like JP Morgan.

He notes that SpaceX, by contrast, can debut at a $1.75 trillion valuation and suggests this dynamic may change soon.

Taylor has commented previously on product innovation among fintech firms. He highlighted Robinhood's move to offer a 7% yield on dollars to 27.7 million customers via its USDG stablecoin. In another note, Taylor discussed Robinhood's introduction of perpetuals and stock tokens for its app users following an interview with the company's leadership.
