Nvidia expands $235 billion buyback

Gary Black, managing partner and investor at The Future Fund, notes that Nvidia has added $150 billion to its buyback program, increasing the total capacity to $235 billion and extending through January 2028.

At a current market capitalization of $5.6 trillion, the expanded program is projected to potentially reduce Nvidia's market cap by 4.2% over the next 16 months.

Black has previously highlighted valuation differences among major tech stocks, noting that AVGO had the lowest 2026 PEG ratio and Tesla the highest in the group, with Nvidia in the lead as well in his Mag 8 PEG comparison. In a separate analysis, he remarked on Tesla’s Cybercab launch, describing the event as falling short of expectations after the formal debut of the robotaxi fleet in his report on the Tesla Cybercab event.
