Tether can freeze any USDT wallet, Layah Heilpern warns
Tether froze $550 million in Iran-linked USDT

Tether has frozen $550 million of Iran-linked USDT since the beginning of this year.

Layah Heilpern pointed out that the same mechanism used to freeze sanctioned wallets could be applied to other users as well.

Heilpern has previously noted rapid shifts in investor mood when crypto sentiment moved from greed to fear within a week. She has also highlighted periods of strong price action in the sector, including when PEPE and DOGE posted significant gains and XRP reached $100 billion. These observations reflect ongoing attention to both sentiment and technical developments in the crypto market.
