Iran cable threat seen as bitcoin positive

Layah Heilpern, owner and host of The Layah Heilpern Show, suggested that a potential threat from Iran to cut seven undersea internet cables in the Strait of Hormuz could have a positive effect on bitcoin. She noted that, while loss of internet access would prevent banking apps, card payments, and transfers, bitcoin has previously been sent by satellite and radio.

Heilpern has previously commented on major digital asset movements, including PEPE’s 46% jump and DOGE’s 25% rise, as well as XRP returning to a $100 billion valuation in earlier coverage. She has also highlighted Sberbank’s plans to launch bitcoin trading with a $3,500 annual limit for individuals in a separate report. Her focus remains on significant developments affecting cryptocurrency adoption and market access.
