Nonfarm payrolls revised higher for August and September, Tracy Shuchart notes
Nonfarm payrolls revised up for two months

Revisions to U.S. total nonfarm payroll employment indicate an increase of 53,000 for August, from 133,000 to 186,000, and an increase of 31,000 for September, from 29,000 to 60,000.

Tracy Shuchart, independent trader and strategist, reported these upward revisions.

Shuchart has previously reviewed financing conditions for technology firms, highlighting how CoreWeave’s difficulties have led to questions about AI startups accessing junk bond markets. In the energy sector, she reported that Shell and Chevron are negotiating offshore drilling deals with Ghana following a preliminary agreement. These reports reflect her recent coverage of corporate developments in both financing and commodities.
