New CLO equity CEF dashboard for tracking risks and rewards launches, Michael Kao announces
Dashboard tracks CLO equity CEF risks

Michael Kao has announced the launch of a new Subscriber App called the CLO Equity CEF Dashboard, which enables users to track the risks and rewards associated with short duration equity risk for individual funds and quarters.

Kao, who is CIO at Akadia Capital and is identified in his bio at Michael Kao, shared that he previously wrote about CLO Equity CEFs at the end of 2023.

Kao has highlighted key market factors in recent commentary. He previously identified bond yield volatility, lower U.S. jobs data, and Hormuz shipping threats as weekly market drivers. In a separate note, he warned that calls for lower interest rates could coincide with an economic downturn as yields return to pre-GFC levels.
