Intel expects revenue from EMIB-T-based solutions to begin ramping up in the second half of 2027, become a more meaningful contributor in 2028 and reach broader scale in 2029. This is particularly important as demand for advanced packaging for AI chips continues to grow.

The broader market backdrop, however, remains less favorable. At the start of September, higher oil prices and expectations of a more restrictive Fed policy stance are weighing particularly heavily on technology stocks. Another important catalyst will be the September 4 U.S. jobs report, which could materially shift expectations for the Fed’s next moves.

$85 becomes the key level for Intel

Intel stock failed to hold above the previously highlighted resistance at $91.60. At the same time, key support at $85 has not been broken, leaving the structure neutral for now.

Over the next several sessions, $85 becomes the main level to watch. A decisive break and sustained move below this mark would significantly increase the probability of a deeper correction toward the $82–79.50 area.

As long as $85 holds, however, the bullish case remains intact. A recovery above $91.60 would return the initiative to buyers and open the way toward the next target zone at $95–98.50.

Volatility could rise as INTC approaches a key test

Intel’s fundamental backdrop remains mixed. Progress in advanced packaging supports the company’s medium-term prospects, while more hawkish rate expectations continue to limit demand for technology stocks.

As long as $85 remains support, another move toward $91.60 and potentially $95–98.50 remains possible. A loss of this level would be a more significant bearish signal, shifting the balance toward sellers and bringing the $82–79.50 area into focus.
