5paisa is a popular Indian discount broker. Its clients invest in currency pairs, stocks, commodities, ETFs, bonds, and other assets. A demo account and a single live account with six plans are available. These plans are Regular, Power Investor, Ultra Trader, YoungVestor, Plus One, and Corporate. Each of them implies trading fees subject to the asset type. Some plans require monthly deposits of INR 599 or INR 1,199. Yet, Ultra Trader implies that the first 100 orders are free from brokerage fees. Trading is conducted on in-house desktop, mobile, and web platforms. Leverage is not provided. Deposits and withdrawals are fee-free and are made only via bank transfers within 24 hours. Technical support is available via email, telephone, and ticket system.

I am a young trader, only 20, so I paid for the YoungVestor plan. There are almost no brokerage fees and minimal other charges, making it frankly the best offer on the Indian market. I especially enjoy trading stocks and ETFs. Trades are executed without any delays or problems. Also, I like extensive education — I haven’t seen such volumes with any broker. The main disadvantage is probably the absence of leverage. I don’t have large capital yet, so even a small leverage of 1:5-1:10 would be great. Also, I want to note a limited choice of deposit/withdrawal methods as only bank transfers are available. I’ve adjusted to that, but there were some inconveniences at first. Overall, everything else suits me perfectly. I'll probably consider changing brokers when I gain more experience, but it is definitely the right fit for now.

This is probably the first broker that I consider the best. Its disadvantages are the absence of popular trading platforms and an INR 100 fee for placing orders by phone. Otherwise, there are no complaints. A demo account allowed me to estimate everything. Opening a live account took about 25 minutes with all confirmations. The broker allows all strategies and methods, so it is possible to scalp, hedge, or use advisors. It really helps. There are many analytics, various calculators, stock screeners, and currency converters. You can always contact technical support, which is available in 8 languages, including English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Tamil, and Telugu. So, I rate the broker 8 out of 10.

First of all, I came to the broker due to the low fees that make it superior to its Indian competitors. I pay INR 10-INR 20 per order on the Ultra Trader plan, which is not much. And the first 100 trades per month are free. There are all necessary currency pairs, stocks, and local bonds. The broker constantly adds new assets. The 5paisa mobile app is perfect in its convenience and functionality. The partnership program brings me stable additional income. INR 250 is credited for each attracted referral who opens an account, and an additional 12.5% of their fees are paid within 60 days. In general, everything is good. Keep it up!
