AMarkets review: Broker prepares for planned MetaTrader maintenance
International online broker AMarkets has announced that its MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5 platforms will be temporarily unavailable on Saturday, December 13, 2025, due to a planned optimization of the company’s trading server. The outage is scheduled to last from 00:30 to 03:00 EET (GMT+2), during which clients will experience a full interruption of trading functionality.

The company stated that the maintenance window is part of an ongoing effort to improve performance and enhance platform stability. While the update will not affect access to user accounts, trading itself — particularly in cryptocurrencies — will be suspended.
Trading restrictions and client precautions
AMarkets has alerted traders that cryptocurrency instruments will be completely unavailable during the three-hour maintenance period. Pending orders, including those intended to open or close positions, will not be executed. Traders who hold active crypto positions may face the risk of price movements during the outage, as the broker will not be held responsible for potential losses or missed profits resulting from market shifts.
As a precaution, the broker advises clients either to ensure sufficient margin is available before the maintenance begins or to close any cryptocurrency positions ahead of the scheduled downtime. Traders relying on automated strategies, pending orders or high-volatility market conditions are urged to prepare accordingly.

The scheduled upgrade reflects AMarkets’ broader strategy to strengthen infrastructure resilience and provide faster execution speeds.
