Webull launches cryptocurrency trading in Australia with Coinbase support
Webull Securities, the Australian subsidiary of Webull Corporation and operator of the Webull trading platform, has officially launched cryptocurrency and digital token trading for local investors. The move gives users direct access to nearly 240 cryptocurrencies, making the platform one of the most extensive retail offerings in the country.
- Chosen by 3 200+ local traders in the last 3 months.
- Traders earn on average 12% more per month vs other brokers.
According to the company’s press release, the service is designed as one of the lowest-cost options in the Australian market. Trading is offered with a spread of just 30 basis points, creating competitive conditions for investors seeking exposure to digital assets without significant expenses.
Partnership with Coinbase Prime and growth strategy
The launch was made possible through a partnership with Coinbase Prime, which provides institutional-grade infrastructure, real-time market data, secure custody, and financing solutions. This collaboration ensures that Webull users in Australia benefit from seamless trade execution and strong protection for their digital holdings.
Rob Talevski, CEO of Webull Securities (Australia), described the expansion as a pivotal step in strengthening the platform’s regional presence. He noted that adding cryptocurrencies and digital tokens marks a new stage in the company’s mission to give Australian investors the freedom of choice. The Australian debut represents the third market worldwide where Webull has introduced crypto trading for retail clients, with further rollouts expected later this year.
Expanded tools for traders
Beyond direct trading, Webull users in Australia will gain access to advanced charting and analytical tools integrated into the platform. The crypto suite includes more than 40 technical indicators, customizable layouts, and premium charting features, helping both novice and experienced traders refine their strategies.
Eligible accounts for cryptocurrency trading include individuals, self-managed super funds (SMSFs), trusts, and companies, broadening the integration of digital assets across various portfolio structures. Around-the-clock customer support enhances accessibility, ensuring assistance is available whenever needed.
With this expansion, Webull strengthens its position as a key player in the Australian crypto market by combining affordability, security, and advanced tools to meet the growing demand for digital asset trading.
