Fulgent Genetics posts 60 percent response

Fulgent Genetics released interim results from its phase 2 trial of FID-007 in combination with cetuximab for patients with recurrent or metastatic head and neck squamous cell carcinoma (HNSCC).

The company reported a 60 percent objective response rate and noted favorable safety outcomes in this challenging patient population. The findings were made available in the latest abstract on the ASCO 2026 platform, providing new insight into therapeutic approaches for R/M HNSCC and highlighting potential advancements for future trials.

Fulgent Genetics previously announced plans to present new data on its nano-encapsulated anti-tumor drug FID-007 at this year's ASCO meeting. Separately, the company expanded its infertility test panels to include more than 140 genes for females and 160 for males in fertility testing. The developments mark ongoing clinical and diagnostic activity across Fulgent's portfolio.
