GoPro reveals Mission1 PRO camera

GoPro has announced the release of its Mission1 PRO, a compact cinema-grade camera capable of capturing 8K resolution video at 60 frames per second and featuring a 1 inch sensor.

Equipped with a proprietary GP3 processor and a 50MP sensor, the camera offers intelligent low-light capture, industry-leading frame rates and resolutions, and advanced thermal management technology. With these enhancements, GoPro is targeting professional filmmakers and content creators seeking high-performance imaging solutions.

GoPro has previously highlighted mountain biking footage captured on the GoPro MAX2, drawing attention to immersive POV video technology. The company also awarded $500 for skiing footage shot on the MAX2, promoting user creativity in action camera technology in an earlier feature focused on POV winter sports. These initiatives showcased GoPro's emphasis on innovative content creation tools.
