Tokenized equity swaps launched in Ledger Wallet with no gas fees
Ledger has introduced the ability for users to swap tokenized stocks from Ondo Finance directly within the Ledger Wallet app.
The new feature leverages 1inch routing to provide round-the-clock access to global markets, eliminating gas fees and cross-chain bridges. All transactions are secured through clear signing of the Ledger signer, facilitating efficient and secure digital asset management. Ledger aims to simplify the way users interact with tokenized equities, potentially expanding mainstream accessibility to digital assets.
Ledger has recently expanded its platform features with new tools for asset management. The company earlier introduced a cash-to-stablecoin service that allows users to receive IBAN payments and convert fiat currencies to USDC instantly. More recently, Ledger highlighted top wallet activity in a weekly leaderboard tracking leading user moves. These updates reflect ongoing product development by Ledger aimed at increasing user engagement.
